A pop idol jockey with a Voice???

If those brilliant Happy Wednesday nights at Happy Valley Racecourse in Hong Kong were still going strong, there’s no doubt that Robbie Dolan would be onstage of the Beer Garden.

The Irish born jockey who recently had a Group 1 win aboard cult horse Shelby Sixtysix, will be making his television debut on Easter Monday on the new season of The Voice Australia.

Can he sing? Without being Pavarotti, very well in a kinda Ed Sheeran/Harry Styles way.


Whether he goes far on The Voice or not, we have a very strong feeling that everyone will be hearing much more from the singing voice of the very personable Robbie Dolan.

Who knows, it might even lead to a very different type of Jockey Challenge!
