With a full book of rides on the weekend, Zac Purton will definitely be the jockey to follow as he is nearly every week even when on a handful of horses whereas owner Steven Lo will be hoping that his Military Attack does better than his Military Secret did a few meetings ago.
With Purton on board, Military Attack contests the G2 Oriental Watch Sha Tin Trophy and looks to only have the Richard Gibson-trained and Olivier Doleuze-ridden Gold Fun to beat.
As for two other runners- California Memory and Akeed Mofeed- this race is looking more and more like a prep race for International Day for these two gallopers.
Us, we’ll be looking at Hong Kong’s two most in-form jockeys on two of Hong Kong’s best horses with Gold Fun having already won a race this season whereas Military Attack will be making its debut for the season.
But we all know, good grief, its trainer John Moore loves winning Cup Races!
