Personally, we think that “X Factor”- whether in the UK- a hit- and the US- is an almighty great big flop- and heralds the end of television talent shows.

Sorry, but we don’t see any of them succeeding and partying like it was 1999.

Frankly, the wind went out during the final season of Simon Cowell being a Judge on “American Idol.”

Seriously, we have ever seen such ham-fisted, mawkish television.

One also thought that Simon Cowell was the Second Coming Of Jesus Christ.

This was just, for the most part of a “communications” plan hatched by his PR agent extraordinaire Max Clifford.

The emphasis on the Evangelical American Right Wong and voting on “Idol”, we’ll save for another day.

Let’s just say that this is a show that should now be on a Christian network with Rick Perry as host.

That “crossover” from Country artist to Mainstream Pop diva doesn’t work anymore unless one is Katy Perry.

Frankly, all these television talent shows have peaked.

None of the artists- or winners- have ever really made it.
