Manchester City talisman Carlos Tevez’s expected move to Brazilian club Corinthians has been put on ice until the January transfer window.
This gives the South American soccer giants time to sort out their finances to make the £40M deal happen.
But, will it still happen?
The reason behind Tevez’s “wanderlust” was that he needed to be near his young family who live in his native Buenos Aires.
BUT … with City boasting a 100% record from their first three games of the season, easily brushing aside Swansea, Bolton and even Spurs away last weekend, we wonder if Carlito is having second thoughts about saying “Adios” to the “Citizens”?
As part of the Red half of Manchester, he has already been part of the team which won the English Premier League twice and the UEFA Champions League.
So are his personal convictions really that strong as to walk out at this point in time and when the Blue half of Manchester are on the rampage?
And at a time when Manchester City is recognized as serious contenders to win both Leagues this season?
Thoughts?
