Tinkler Puts Trust In Moreria – And Wins!

One of the highlights of the Warwick Farm meeting on the weekend was the win of top Brazilian jockey Joao Moreira.

Moreira, who has represented Singapore in Hong Kong on a number of occasions won the Group 2 Makybe Diva

Stakes aboard Trusting- despite being almost 3-4 wide.

Still, a winner is a winner and we can all be armchair critics.  

It was Moreiro’s first time of riding in Australia and had been especially flown to Sydney to ride four horses for the country’s biggest horse owner- Nathan “The Big Cheese” Tinkler, someone known to eat jockeys for breakfast and the belch them out.

We can only assume that Moreira will be making even more frequent trips Down Under for The Tinkler Man in the weeks to come.

In fact, we’re tipping that he is offered a contract from The Tinkler Man to be his retained jockey and that Moreira’s days of riding in Singapore just might be coming to an end.
