The stallion Elusive City is quite a stud. He has 12 sons racing in Hong Kong including Romantic City and Blaze King.
He also sired Country Charm and Fionn’s Treasure which both won on their debut appearances this season.
In the past 4 meetings, progenies of this four-legged stud have racked up 3 wins – and with none of his “kids” having run on Sunday.
In seven starts over the 1200-metre distance at Happy Valley, his progenies have recorded 3 wins, 1 second and 1 third for a first-3 strike rate of over 70%!
On Wednesday, three of Elusive City’s progenies will be running at Happy Valley.
All eyes will be on the Ricky Yiu-trained Shahjee whose stable is on fire!
Last Wednesday, Yiu won a Cup race as part of a winning treble with one of these winners being Sohna.
Like Shahjee, it is also owned by Mr. Syed Pervez Hussain and competes in the China Securities Golden Bauhinia Award Cup.
Come on Shahjee! Don’t let your Big Daddy down!
