THE MAGIC OF GUYON GOES POOF!


On a day most punters would rather forget about, the magic of Maxime Guyon came unstuck.

Apart from being beaten on red-hot favourite Ambitious Dragon in the Cathay Pacific Jockey Club Mile Classic, the French whiz kid failed to bring home even one winner.

Guyon had nine rides and was second to win the Jockeys Challenge.

But while Douglas Whyte- the favorite to win the Challenge- had a miserable day at the office, so did Guyon.

There was just something in the air today and it simply did not favour the favourites- and Maxime Guyon.

But, like The Terminator, he’ll be back- and in Hong Kong for a longer stint next month and will certainly be back amongst the winners.
