The January Cup

As usual, apart from John Size who seems to keep his horses for Shatin, the other three leading trainers – Tony Cruz, John Moore and Caspar Fownes- seem hell bent on winning this Cup.

In fact, in another case of Moore the merrier, John has entered four runners led by Military Attack.

Tony Cruz has two runners and Caspar Fownes is depending on Helene Spirit to make January a month to remember.

As always with Happy Valley, barrier draws are very important and with leading jockeys Douglas Whyte and Zac Purton still suspended, we’ll be following the horses ridden especially by Brett Prebble and Matthew Chadwick. There is a tip there!
