SUPREME JEWELLERY DOES NOT GLITTER AT SHATIN

We hate to gloat, but we will: We told you so.

The red hot favourite for Race 8 at Shatin- the John Size-trained Supreme Jewellery- flopped and ended up coming a disappointing fifth.

Forget all that nonsense about the time of its last win being equal to a Class 1 horse.

As we wrote, there was a strong tailwind blowing that day and so “times” were something we discarded.

It was also drawn the “wrong side” of a 1000 metres race in Shatin.

The race was won by the Peter Ho-trained Arrived Ahead and ridden by Ben So with the Tony Cruz-trained Space Race coming second.

Trackside’s Brett Davis must be licking his wounds for saying that he didn’t like the booking of apprentice So for the ride which he got home at over 20s.

As for Supreme Jewellery, the jury’s out on this one.

FASTTRACK

The new way of looking at horse racing

The world of entertainment today is vast, it cannot be defined, it is intertwined and has become one. One cannot, for example, have music without fashion- and vice versa. Rock Stars, supermodels, actors and actresses and sports heroes have formed Mutual Admiration Societies.

On www.fasttrack.hk, you will see Who’s In, Who’s Out, What’s Hot and What’s Not- in Hong Kong and the rest of the world- in English and Chinese. It’s all ballsy stuff that breaks new ground and tells it like it is. The gloves are off.

Fast Track is the authority and driving force to steer you along the edgy road to this new world of entertainment.. Of course, there will be our opinions- off-the-wall, to-the-point and no waffle.

More important to us is what you think. Really think. Agree, disagree, or tell us to take a hike. As long as it’s a hike on the fast track of life, it doesn’t matter.
