The weekend’s Manchester Derby at Old Trafford saw City thrash United 6-1 on the Red Devils’ own turf.
Football’s new dominant force in Manchester – and in England – is – for the time being – Sky Blue in colour.
Sure, Jonny Evans was sent off for a bad challenge – but City deservedly scored their first goal anyway and were in charge of the game.
It was a masterful lesson in attacking football spearheaded by “Super Mario” Balotelli , then by his super-sub Edin Dzeko, and with the whole match orchestrated from midfield by the pint-sized Spaniard David Silva.

City now go five points clear at the top of the EPL, they have overtaken United and are now clear favourites with the bookies to be EPL Champions this season.

Before kick-off, we were wondering how focused Italian wild-child Balotelli would be.
After all, we had head of his exploits in the early hours of the morning (late night) at his home – when fireman were called in to extinguish a fire from the bathroom of his house.
Whilst most professional footballers take-it easy on nights before games (let alone The Manchester Derby), it was not the case not for our mate Super Mario who was partying the night away.
No pun intended, but it had come to light that one of his bright-spark party guests had decided to light a firework in his bog … which set off more fireworks than were needed.

What’s more crazy was that just 48 hours after nearly burning his house down with the mis-use of fireworks, “Super Mario” was named an ambassador for a fireworks safety campaign as the UK gears up for Guy Fawkes Day festivities on November 5.
