Serena The Siren: Underdog Hotpot!




Once a hot favourite to win any Women’s US Tennis Open, three times winner Serena Williams, has been seeded a lowly 28th this year.

This was after the US Tennis Association stuck to its straight-jacket policy of following world-rankings to determine its seedings for the final Grand Slam of 2011 , rather than taking into account past-performances and current form.



We are rooting for Serena, who has recently come back from being out for a year due to serious illness.

Here’s hoping she can lift the trophy for the 4th time at Flushing Meadows come Ladies Final day on September 10th.

Again, action speaks louder than words.
