We’re looking forward to two traditionally hugely rivalrous Derbies taking place this weekend in the EPL – a la Merseyside and North London.
In the Merseyside edition between Liverpool and Everton, we’re really hoping to see Liverpool’s most influential player- Stevie G (Gerrard) – actually be on the field and play for some substantial time. Finally.
He should be back to full-health now after his long Summer stint when he was injured.
Even though this match is to be played at Everton’s Goodison Park, we’re thinking that with their inspirational #8 returning to orchestrate the midfield, the Reds can sneak a victory.
To get you in the mood, here’s 10 of the best Liverpool Derby match goals of recent years.
Of course, Stevie G netted a couple.

In the North London edition at White Hart Lane, we’re guessing that anything can happen.
It’s gonna be fun stuff and where plenty of goals can be expected – especially with the topsy-turvy way Arsenal are playing of late.
All eyes will be on the outspoken and controversial Emmanuel Adebayor who will be playing his first North London Derby for Spurs.
The ex-Arsenal striker’s foul-mouthed departure from the Emirates Stadium for Man City two seasons ago has left him bitterly despised by many Gunners fans.
Adebayor is in fantastic goal-scoring form of late and all hell may well break loose if he finds the net on Sunday night.
