The 1000 metre sprint races at Happy Valley are usually all about barrier draws- the inside draws the better- but, as we saw in race 3 on Wednesday, this doesn’t always go according to the script.

On Wednesday, Braveness and Bundle Of Joy, both specialists over this distance clash and are certain to be amongst the favorites in a very competitive race where one should take a look at the Racing Touch app and see the form of all runners plus paying close attention to the barrier draws.

Also, check the rides of the apprentices who only need to get the horses out in front, keep them on a straight line and just close their eyes, hope for the best and keep going.
