The new way of looking at horse racing

Let it shine!

Apart from the return of Douglas Whyte and Zac Purton after their suspensions to resume their absorbing duel for the Jockeys Premiership, we also see three of Hong Kong’s rising equine stars clashing in race 9.

These are led by Flagship Shine (R9, #2) which won at its first start for the John Moore stable when ridden by Neil Callan and a very loud quiet tip which is probably why it started at around 8 to 1.

Some say the horse was a run short of being 100% fit which means it should have the measure of the two other newcomers- Lucky Omens (R9, #14) and Disciples Twelve (R9, #13).

In fact, when it won, Flagship Shine (R9, #2) beat Disciples Twelve (R9, #13) into fourth place.

We really cannot see this exciting young galloper being beaten.

So, wave the flag and let the sun shine in!

FASTTRACK

The new way of looking at horse racing

The world of entertainment today is vast, it cannot be defined, it is intertwined and has become one. One cannot, for example, have music without fashion- and vice versa. Rock Stars, supermodels, actors and actresses and sports heroes have formed Mutual Admiration Societies.

On www.fasttrack.hk, you will see Who’s In, Who’s Out, What’s Hot and What’s Not- in Hong Kong and the rest of the world- in English and Chinese. It’s all ballsy stuff that breaks new ground and tells it like it is. The gloves are off.

Fast Track is the authority and driving force to steer you along the edgy road to this new world of entertainment.. Of course, there will be our opinions- off-the-wall, to-the-point and no waffle.

More important to us is what you think. Really think. Agree, disagree, or tell us to take a hike. As long as it’s a hike on the fast track of life, it doesn’t matter.
