“Get me some young actress and have her endorse the product!”
Well, that’s what it looks like has happened here.
Emma Watson might have been perfect as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series.
But in this new commercial for a Lancome Fragrance, she comes across as a little girl who is playing dress-up with her Mum’s clothes.
She’s neither here nor there.
She is Nowhere Girl.
The “performance” and “plot” is truly a stinker.
The ad agency and Lancome’s Marketing Director should be sacked.

As for Emma Watson, what can we say when she is quoted talking gibberish like this:
“What I love about this story that we put together is that it’s almost fate, like chance, that brings the two of them together… You never know what’s going to be around the corner. That’s what we wanted to get across in the fragrance: that life is magical with little surprises.”
Duh!
