The Kent & Curwen sponsored Centenary Sprint Cup takes place on Sunday with ex-football star and now famous horse owner Michael Owen in town as its Brand Ambassador for Asia.
The race takes place over 1000m which, in Shatin, almost always favors horses drawn closest to the grandstand rails.
On paper, Eagle Regiment and Go Baby Go look the horses to beat wherever they drawn as they have natural gate speed.
It’s also smart to follow anything ridden by Joao Moreira in these races as he has mastered winning these sprints.
