The great thing about humour is when you can laugh at yourself.
And we laugh at ourselves often.
At the start of the season we tipped that Moroccan international Adel Taarabt, QPR’s young midfield general, would play a crucial part in the Hoops’ success this season.
Our prediction looks down the crapper with QPR spanked 6-0 by Fulham – a “religiously” low-scoring team that hasn’t scored more than three goals in a match for over 200+ games.
And then there were the antics of naughty-boy Adel.
He was playing so badly that QPR manager Neil Warnock decided enough is enough and substituted him-off at half-time – and which ended in a bust-up between boss and player.
THEN surreally, as the match continued, Taarabt – having a hissy fit – was spotted shortly afterwards outside Craven Cottage waiting for the bus to take him home.
Some QPR fans who couldn’t take any more of their team’s humiliation chose to leave Craven Cottage early too- but not before getting the a pic with their public-transport hopping hero.
Is Taarabt going to be a QPR player much longer?
Will QPR manage to stay up???
We have to wonder what our old Singaporean mate Tony Fernandes who recently purchased the club is thinking right now?
Perhaps, it starts with, “Fuck me …”
