ARE YOU READY TO RUMBA IN SHATIN?

There might not be a Happy Wednesday at Happy Valley as the mid-week meeting but there will be the first all-weather meeting of the season at Shatin.

To many, racing on the all-weather track and known more popularly by many as “dirt racing”, is quite a bore and can never compare nor compete with turf racing.

Having said this, despite not having the entertainment value of a Happy Wednesday night, the program produced for Shatin includes having a go at a Six Up Bonus and a good Class Two race that brings together three specialists on this surface- Bundle Of Love, Lord Sinclair and Rumba King.

Rumba King is a real all-weather specialist that has had a pipe-opener on the turf and should be fit for this event, especially if regular rider Weichong Marwing is on it. The combination of Marwing and Rhumba King is always lethal.

Bundle Of Love will probably start a short-priced favorite, but Lord Sinclair and Rumba King will be no pushovers.
